We also got to see one of the wedge tail eagles, Isn’t he sooooo cute. He was originally thought of as a She when he first arrived because of his size.

And then off to see another croc show featuring the largest crocodile there. The sound that his jaws make when they close is extremely loud and scary. I think I will take their advice and not go close to the water in croc infested areas.

After the shows we wandered around to see all the other animals. The koalas were very sleepy. Koalas can sleep for up to 23 hours a day. Their remaining time is spent eating and keeping the species alive.

We then wandered through the kangaroo area. You can feed them but we didn’t. It was early afternoon and most of them looked quite comfy lying in the sun

Some of the water birds have extremely flexible necks.

We arrived at the elephants around feeding time. The elephants are actually grey, they just roll around in the red dirt.
